These lined paper bags are better than the cloth-like ones!
I purchased 2 types of bags from Amazon (both made by DVC) for my Upright Progressive vacuum, to compare. These paper ones Sears Kenmore 50688 Micro-Lined Replacement Vacuum Bags 3 pk., and these

These PAPER ones actually allowed my vacuum stronger suction power- I can easily vacuum the stubborn dog hairs woven into my area rugs. They are paper, and are NOT made by Kenmore. They are lined inside with a thin rubbery coat of something. They don't feel as STURDY as the thicker faux cloth ones, but they vacuum well, and get tossed out just the same. I think I'm no longer going to buy the THICKEST faux cloth ones at Sears, nor the other DVC brand faux cloth ones. I doubt they are truly better "HEPA" quality filtrative than these...

Fit's great in my Kenmore upright. Way less expensive than Sears and a way better fit than the generic bags I have purchased in the past from Wal-mart and Home Depot.

I like that these bags help with people that have allergies. Bags fit well and you don't have to go to Sears to purchase new bags.
