Item broke after 2.5 months
We used this hose for about 3 hours per week and after 2.5 months it broke as pictured. We did not abuse it. The original hose lasted about 3 years of the same use by the same person. The original hose did not fail in the same way, the plastic membrane tore at the other end between the wires.

Well, this hose is stiffer than the original, and the ID is soo small the vacume tube barley fits into it. It is a PAIN to use!
A great replacement
This hose fit snugly on my Dyson and has improved its performance. My duck tape fix on my old one left a LOT to be desired. :o)
