Pros and Cons
I'm a bit torn on this product. There are things I really like and things that are a bit disappointing. I thought it might be easiest to list the plusses and the minuses separately...

CONS:
* In order to get our tile as clean as possible, it seems like I have to move the machine extremely slowly when both washing and wet vaccuming. I have a lot of ceramic tile in my home, so it is a big job. When I have the patience and time (which isn't often with two toddlers running around), the slow pace definitely gets my floors squeaky clean. Most days, however, I don't have that luxury. In fact, there are a lot of times when I resort back to my Swiffer mop just to get the mopping over with so I can get on to other tasks.

* The little filter/screen in the dirty water tank seems to get clogged a bit sooner than I expected. When it's clogged, the wet vac function doesn't work as well. Once it's unclogged, though, it works great.

This thing is loud, but it works. If there's a weakness, it's that the dry vacuum doesn't seem to do too well. But that's what a good sweeping is for, isn't it? I have linoleum, and the H3044 did a fine job. The cleaning solution was pretty filthy when I poured it out after use, both satisfying and repulsive at the same time! It seems that this is a new Hoover model (July 2007), which explains why there are not a lot of reviews to be found online. I wish it could use Pine-Sol, because I have a Costco-sized jug of that stuff on hand already. Will vinegar/water mix work? I have no idea. I don't see why not. I guess the fear is that the gaskets will fail if solvents are used. Guess I'll stick to the Hoover stuff for now. Anyways, it scrubbed my floors quite well, even though they're a bit uneven/warped. The vacuum is great at picking the solution back up. Hope that helps.

Cleans great!
Cleans great and uses 3 containers of water/cleaner solution (about half a bucket)for: 2 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 living rooms. The cord is long enough. I used half of the cleaner, 1oz, and it works fine. At first I did not know why the water wasn't coming out and then I found I wasn't pulling the trigger below the handle. It's nice to see all the dirty water and sediment off your floors. This product really saves your back from traditional mopping and it is nice to know you are not reusing dirty water to mop your floors.

Good quality for the price
I bought this to replace my 10 year old vacuum accessory's and I wasn't disappointed. Very good quality and shipped fast. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about needing to replace there old one. The only thing different about my old one to the new one is that you have to use both wands. My old one I could just use the beater wand for the floor too. But the new one is easier to change wands so doesn't bother me. And the new vacuum accessory has a light on it which I like, but didn't have before and this new one also has 5 levels for carpets.

Tool Kit
Having a 3 story townhouse, I wanted another tool kit to leave on the lower level. It has worked out so well. We were so happy to be able to purchase this kit. It works great!

Dyson Genuine Dc23 Dc32 Prefilter Blueberry

Just what we needed
Our DC23 was starting to get sluggish and washing the filter seemed to do little to fix it so we decided it was time for a new one. After installing the new filter it is like we have a brand new vacuum. Great suction again!

Black & Decker SMP30 Washable Microfiber Pads Steam Mop

I bought these as replacements so I could do the bathroom tile and then the kitchen tile with a clean mop head before they went into the washing machine. These pads are a good size, go on and off easily, work very well and pick up dirt nicely. I would recommend this.

Hand Cart

Good Quality for the mony
I ordered this with the help of a telephone customer service agent with Amazon. After searching all of the local hardware and building supply stores in my area I went to Amazon.com. I was unable to locate the item so I called their Customer Service line and within a few min's she had found it for me. I was very suprised at the quality and ease of assembly and used the cart for several years before I moved. The movers broke it during transit so I am ordering another. I can highly recommend this "Trash Can Cart" for anyone needing to move two refuse cans to the curb with ease.

Fine- just what I expected
This item is as I expected it would be. I bought it because the raccoons were getting into our trash and I wanted the trash bins to remain upright. This cart does the trick, so I am pleased. It is not particularly attractive or heavy weight, but it was easy to assemble. The wheels aren't great (they are plastic, not rubber), but I cannot complain.

Handcart from Amazon
This handcart from Amazon is used to take my garbage cans up my steep driveway on collection days. I bought it to replace one that had worn out after many years of use. It was purchased based on mainly good reviews and one which said easy assembly. It was not easy for me because I could not make the bolt holes line up. I decided those particular bolts were simply not essential and have been using it without them with no problem. The cart is very light but strong and moves very smoothly. Another reviewer complained about the wheels, but I find them just fine. It is a big improvement over my old hand cart which was very heavy. I manage to fit two 30# garbage cans and a recycle bin on this one.

Good bags, but no dust filters included
When I used my Hoover S3345 to clean up after sanding a sheetrock wall, the dust filter below the bag got clogged before the bag was full, and I was surprised to find that - in contrast to the first replacement bag that came with the S3345 - the bags in this package do not include new dust filters. Make sure to order dust filters separately if you are planning to use your vacuum cleaner for projects with a lot of fine dust.

Electrolux Canister Vacuum Cleaner On/Off Switch

Good product, but original switch might be riveted to bracket on some models
I had to drill out rivets and use small bolts for replacement on my Silverado. The old switch was easy to remove, but it was attached to a small bracket that was riveted to the switch. If this one came with the bracket, I wouldn't have needed to drill out and replace fasteners. No big deal.

Ordered this part to repair our Dyson's DC07. The original had cracked and the vacuum made an awful crackling noise when we'd try to use it. Once we received this genuine replacement part, it went in without too much trouble, so we are back to vacuuming floors instead of troubleshooting expensive vacuums. NuTone CH620 CH620 CURRENT CARYNG HOSE ASSY, NA

The company that I ordered the hose from is great.....the hose, is ok.
The hose is made from a different material (plastic), from the original hose I had to replace. It's not as smooth , and now catches easily on corner woodwork/trim. I think this hose would be better paired with the " sleeve'" that is available (of course for more $)

Great Little Vac (as of 5 weeks ownership)
Sorry about the guy who bought the lemon. I bought one of the refurb units and the thing has unbelievable suction. I mean, if this thing had a propeller, it could fly for about 2 miles at 200 feet up before pooping out. Then I'd like to see the look of the guy whose lawn it lands on! Who cares if it's 'only 5 minutes'? I can totally vac my car in that time. The designer(s) of this unit made a fantastic device. Every aspect from suction to emptying the dirt has been maximized for efficiency. Plus, it LOOKS like it was made for NASA. I only wish they made a long-tube attachment, so I could clean my entire dwelling with it without stooping. I'm not stoopid, ya know. Maybe I'll attempt to re-purpose some kind of piping to make it work. . .

Dyson DC40 Multi Floor Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Accessories Bundle

Do NOT spend your money
I was very excited when I purchased this vacuum but I was sadly disappointed. The opening on the bottom to suck in stuff from the carpet i.e., dirt, pet fur etc. is so tiny that it just keeps getting clogged and i literally have to stop every few minutes or so just to clean it. If you are using only the hose then it is wonderful but that's an awful lot of money to invest in just the hose section. Don't wast your money on this vacuum.

Almost completely amazing
I love the look, how compacted it was, moves and turns amazingly, can get under the couch and tables because of how thin it is, super easy to empty, the hose system was very well designed. It didn't have a suction and pick ability any better than other vacuums that were much cheaper and it had an awful whin that gave me a headache and would always wake my baby who typically sleeps through anything so we sent it back.

Replacement Hoover Belt fits All Elite Models

didn't fit
unfortunately this belt did not fit my hoover elite rewind.This belt didn't break my wallet so i kept it instead of paying shipping to send it back. Now I know to only buy belts that have product numbers assigned to them, regardless of the title "replacement hoover belt fits all elite models".

Generic Dyson DC-07 All-Floors (Yellow) Attachment Hose

I returned mine because it wasn't made by Dyson, but was a near equivilant.
I ordered this replacement hose for my Dyson after calling the company directly and finding out they can't sell to customers in New York State due to tax complications. Dyson referred me to a business called Factory Direct which could sell it to me, but the price was $20 more than Dyson's $39.xx. So I purchased this item on Amazon expecting it to be--as described--a 'Dyson' DC07 hose.

When it arrived I realized that this is a generic replacement part, not made by Dyson. Though I returned it because I wanted the genuine article I have to say the quality is very good--not quite the level of the Dyson manufactured part, but certainly an adaquate and functional replacement.

The color didn't match though. The yellow parts are simply bright yellow and not the Steel-Yellow of the vacuum. I would have preferred if they made that bit simply gray instead because the color difference made it look cheesy.

BOTTOM LINE: Though this part is not of equivilant...

Received this in the mail and was excited to put it on my dyson. It didn't fit AT all the removable wand part nor did the buttons to release it work. Also at the bottom where it clips in the clip didn't work and the piece wasnt even glued together properly. I am returning it. I appears to be a cheap knockoff of a dyson part.

Dyson Vacuum hose replacement
This item did not fit my Dyson vacuum cleaner, even though it was advertised as a suitable replacement part. The release buttons for the vacuum wand were too small to operate properly, and I plan on returning it to the vendor.

Wow, this is a great vacuum! It does a great job of cleaning and the price can not be beat.
It is super easy to use. I can clean the entire house in about 1/4 of the time it use to take with the old vacuum.
The attachments make it a great tool for cleaning any thing.

The vacuum cleaner itself works really good, makes short work of my household cleaning. I use it to clean my carpet, kitchen floor, bathrooms, garage and porch. Looks heavy, but it's pretty light weight, if you empty the bag frequently. The extension cord is long enough to clean my entire house using just one electrical socket. Not crazy about the Velcro waist strap, should be a plastic buckle strap. Velcro tends to ware out after awhile and gets lent and stuff stuck to it. My main complaint is the floor wand. It's too straight, the one at my work has a curve to it, making it connect at the right angle to the floor(for a proper vacuum seal). The other problem is the floor nozzle (the part that connects with the floor). Floor nozzles are supposed to come with a smooth plastic cap that fits over the nozzle, ensuring that it glides smoothly over the carpet regardless of the length of your carpet. The nozzle was manufactured to have this piece, but they didn't include it with the product...

Great Vacuum for Commercial Use
This is a great vacuum for commercial use. Speeds up cleaning time and provides a more thorough clean. I would highly recommend.

Don't put in more than the recommended amount or you will have a foam overload.

Used this in one of my units, with a very dirty and smelly carpet. It was amazing how much crud was removed and the bad smell was removed. Great stuff!

Quick fix to stinky vacuum exhaust
I try to replace the air filter on our cleaner every six bags. We have a lab & with every six bags - even though we try to bathe our lab regularly with a wheat cream shampoo - it seems his dander is strong enough - that every six bags (approx 6 months)I need to change out the air filter. You can't really go wrong with any 3M product & with changing both filter & bag with fresh clean 3m ones - the vacuum seems to loose that funky lab smell.

3M Quality for an Electrolux-Compatible HEPA Filter
The HEPA filter on our Electrolux vacuum cleaner needed replacement, and so I began the arduous task of tracking down the exact replacement. The task was not as easy as I had hoped. Finding the "original" Electrolux filter took a bit of work, and then, when I found it, discovered the hideously high price of the filter. But I ran across a few 3M filters as I looked, and then turned my attention (via part numbers) to see if I could locate a 3M filter, and here it is! I'm delighted to have found it, because the 3M filter, like most every product this company makes, is extremely high quality, and, surprise, the price was more than reasonable. The filter fit perfectly in our Electrolux EL7055 canister vacuum cleaner (a twin turbine unit we purchased at Costco). Other reviewers here are indicating that the filter is a perfect fit for the more common "Oxygen" Electrolux models.

Dyson DC41 Multi Floor Upright Vacuum

Blows my old one out of the water.
I have 2 dogs with black hair, and both are shedding right now. I ran my vacuum over an area about 3 times last week, and there was still noticeable hair on the carpet, so I decided it was time. $500 and a DC41 later, I can honestly say I'm impressed. I hit the room that I tried my old vacuum on, and had to dump the bin twice before I was done. It looks like I hired a maid to get the floor clean! For the amount of hair my dogs are shedding, it would be nice if the bin was about twice the capacity, but it's quick to empty, so no show stopper there.

The bottom of my Oreck XL no longer had the sweeper bar that allows transition from carpet to hard floors. The bristles on either side, worn.. My XL lasted longer than my marriage.
I wanted to give my upright a breath of new life so I replaced the plate and beater bar. Now, it runs like it's brand new. This is an inexpensive fix for your $400 vacuum that will make it new again so go on and get it!

Hoover Three-Layer Final Filter for WindTunnel Vacuums, 40110004

Not for all Windtunnel vacuums
Not only did this not fit my WindTunnel non self-propelled vacuum, but I was charged $5.02 to return this $5.92 part. I cannot find a place to complain to Amazon so I will do it here. To ship it to me it was $1.70, but to ship it back it was $5-02???? I got $.90 back. Whoopee. If I had been made aware of this at the start I would have sold it on Craig's list instead. So if you have an older WindTunnel I suggest you buy the parts elsewhere. This is an outrage.

Sent me the wrong filters TWICE
Again, the wrong filter was sent to me. This is rediculous...

Model number U6630-900 is listed as a model that will accomodate this filter. However, it is nowhere near the correct size. One would think that you guys would have corrected this by now, seeing as there are several other reviewers with the same issue. Please remove model U6630-900 from your compatibility list for this product. This kind of thing is extremely annoying.

Picture showed the correct proportion filter, another filter was sent. Description indicates For all Hoover WindTunnel (except Self-Propelled), mine is a Hoover WindTunnel / Not Self-Propelled and the Filter is too small.

Change sometimes is not better
After using this for several months, I felt compelled to sit done right now and write a review. I have owned the original model for 30 years and was quite happy with its performance, only minor parts needed replacement -- belt in carpet motor and worn out hardwood floor brush. When motor failed completely my husband said it was time for a new one... But -- 1. while it is nice to have the on/off switch at the handle instead of pulling hose from wall, the switches are right where handle is and I'm constantly turning it off while trying to grip the giant handle and push to vacuum; 2. The dust brush is useless, bristles are non-existent, it's in the trash and I'm using my 30year old one; 3. The "tool bag" is a joke, it also is in the trash and am using a bucket; 4. You cannot vacuum underneath furniture with carpet cleaner, because when you lower wand to the floor and try to clean under sofa, chair, table, etc. the attachment ring scrapes on the carpet/floor and stops you from pushing...

Exactly what I expected
Works great, with protective sleve it slides easily across the floor. Note you may need an extension cord if you don't have an outlet within 6' of the vacuum plug

Nutone could have done much better.
Power head works well. But, the lights aim too high and they are not shielded from the top, making them distracting.

The storage bag is useless.

The hose works, but is very flimsy and I do not expect it to last very long. In fact my first order arrived with a damaged hose that had to be returned.

The wands are very good. The other tools are OK.

Hoover Twin Chamber & 201 HEPA Filter

One of the Best Online Buys I've Found!
I like to comparison shop, and when I saw the low cost of these filters online at Amazon.com, I thought something HAD to be cheap or disappointing in them. So I went ahead and bought one locally for almost $30 and ordered these for MUCH less. I figured if they were ok, I'd have a good supply on hand, if not, I could wait out the return time and use the one I bought locally.

Well let me tell you, this will be the last time I spend $30 locally for one. These filters are every bit as good as the ones sold in your local super store, for a fraction of the price. The only error I might be making is assuming that the $30 I have to pay here in Alaska for one is comparable to prices in the Lower 48. Otherwise....buy these online with peace of mind and know a good product is on the way!

Good filter for $
For the money, this filter is ok. It is not as heavy as the original Hoover filter, but seems to do a good job. I replace mine every three to four months, so it is fairly expensive, but worth it as the house stays cleaner.

Hoover Premium Pet Formula Detergent, 48 Ounces, AH30125

Well, I have an older dog that has siezures so she can not hold her bladder very well any longer. I keep on top of it with my in home steam cleaner but I usually use a less expensive carpet cleaner. Though no one else would probably notice the stains, I am always looking for the best way to remove the urine and smells.

I was expecting superior urine cleaning, being that it is Premium Pet Formula, and a very fresh scent. I do not see any better than Resolve or other urine removers and they smell much nicer when you are finished.

Not impressed. Especially for $$.

Satisfactory
We used this detergent with a Hoover carpet SteamVac and mixed a capful of detergent in the gallon-tank of very hot water. This did get dirt up and out of our carpet - however much dirt was also left behind. We then pre-treated a similar section of the carpet with Resolve - worked it in with a sponge - and then went over it with the SteamVac and this detergent. Much better results with the Resolve pre-treatment than without.

I have nothing bad to say about this detergent...but nothing amazingly good either. Thus, its "average" rating.

Good product
This is a good product for pet odors or pet mistakes. Works well and has a nice fragrance. Hoover detergents are good products, I make it a point to buy these instead of other product lines for my Hoover shampooer-works the best.

3M Filtrete Bissell 7, 8 & 14 Allergen Vacuum Filter, 1 Pack

Set? Set of what?...
Well, I thought this was going to be a complete set. Although it is not obvious the 7,8,&14 do NOT designate filters. After looking at several "sets" I thought this was going to be a complete one. This "set" includes the circular collar and square pre-motor foam filters. The item description conveniently does NOT list what is included. The HEPA rectangular filter is NOT included. Look around and you may find this "set" cheaper;)

Perfect replacement
My vacuum was way overdue for a replacement of the filters. In fact, I didn't even realize that there were 2. Just had noted the circular one, not the pad between the motor and the canister.

This product fit more snug than the original, especially on the circular one. (this is a good thing). To replace the Bissell filters would have cost much more locally.

Mini-Vacuum Set

Better than I expected
I didn't expect much from a battery powered vacuum but this little guy performs pretty well. I use it for pulling up the small crumbs and debris from drawers and from keyboards. Sometimes a little cheap gadget is all you need.

Why didn't I know about this sooner
Forever, I have been sweeping and vacuuming my house every day because of two dogs and a cat, 2 parrots. I saw this at Costco and on a whim bought it. It was all ready to charge, and then push the button, and omg, it cleaned my whole house better than I ever have, behind chairs, under chairs, tables, corners, unbelievable!! I had to empty the dust bin twice, completely full of pet fur and dirt, and I was thinking the floors were already fairly clean. Don't even think about it, just get one I will run it every day and pretend the maid just left.

I have 2 dogs and seventeen birds. The bin is large enough to clean my bird room if used every three days, otherwise it would stop before the floor was finished. When it hits a power cord it switches from clean mode to escape from the cord mode until it gets away from it, so moving power cords to where they won't get in its way will result in a more thorough job.

This model only comes with one spare filter and one virtual wall, which in a poor design decision was made to take c batteries. Since rechargeable c batteries are overpriced compared to AA, I simply fold a sheet of paper each around the two AA batteries to make them fit. This method worked fine in allowing me to use AA rechargeable batteries on the virtual wall instead of c batteries and isn't hard to do with just two batteries. The virtual wall turns itself off after 1.5 hours to conserve power so I haven't had to recharge them yet. The virtual wall has been working fine to restrict Roomba to one room at a...

not the same Roomba??
I bought this on a whim at Sam's Club and will have to say, buy it at Amazon instead! I got only one Lighthouse and no remote. However, it picks up a lot more dirt than I thought I it would, so I'm pretty happy with it.
It can't read your mind, so instead of cleaning the kitchen like I want it to, it keeps going back into the TV room. I'll have to figure out some barriers to keep it in one room at a time.
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and the dogs bring in real dirt along with the hair and dust, and my pet Roomba actually picks it all up. This little critter will make less work for me.

Do not fit properly
I have had some bags that do not for and the door will not close on a Sebo x4. The Sebo OEM bags are Bly a couple dollars more on Amazon, why buy cheap bags?

Yeah! They Fit!
We have a Century 500 upright model that was purchased from our previous janitorial supply vendor. It wasn't until corporate changed vendors that we realized how difficult it is to find vacuum bags for our machine that don't cost an arm and a leg. Very pleased to find these generic bags that fit our model and work well.

Irobot Roomba 562/563 Pet Series Vacuum Cleaning Robot

Still Happy and Content
We've had our Roomba since January 2010 and approx. 6 months later, I still love it and am really glad we made the purchase. It took a little convincing for me to get my husband to agree with the purchase, but now he calls it "his vacuum", and likes to show it off to our friends and family when they come over. For us, it really has reduced my weekly in-house workload. With two cats in the house, birds, bunny, and a dog, pet hair gets tracked throughout the house. With two young children, our kitchen (hardwood floors) gets nibblets of food all over the floor. Setting the vacuum up to focus on one room (by using the virtual walls) makes a big difference. Frequently ours is venturing throughout the entire house.

The only problem we occasionally have is when it gets stuck under our china cabinet, or stuck while trying to suck up a toy that was left behind, or shoelaces hanging off a shoe left out. All very minor issues. I will say, it's a bit odd, when in the middle of...

I've had quite a few Roomba cleaning robots, and was interested in the 562 because it's advertised as being new and different for homes with pets. Experienced "Roomba" users should note (as I failed to) that the new bin advertised for the pet model is simply a different bin that's used place of the normal one (as opposed to a secondary bin that's used concurrently, as I'd incorrectly assumed). The sweeper bin can be used in place of the normal bin, and seems to disables the vacuum functionality, making the Roomba a sweeping robot.

The Achilles Heel of this robot (as with all Roomba floor-cleaning robots) is the constant need to clean the machine's brushes. We're not talking once every few days here--we're talking 1-2 times per cleaning cycle. You don't set the Roomba to clean while you're at work and expect it to be done when you get home. You learn to expect to find it in the middle of the floor, requiring a brush cleaning before it can continue. And ultimately--after a...

Doggie Roomba
Our Roomba is really part of the family. We call him Paco (don't know why, it just seems to fit). We have four (4) dogs, two long hair and two short hair. Without Paco, it is impossible to keep up with the hair and dirt they bring in. By running Paco every other day, we manage to keep the hair to a minimum, even under the beds where cleaning is nearly impossible. Cleaning Paco up is easy if you have the right tools. My problems with the Roomba (my third one) is that it is impossible to get a person on the phone or on line. Emails to iRobot are generally answered within 30-45 days which is also a problem. They send extra brushes, sweeps, etc., with the robot which helps but I keep an old comb, a small screwdriver, a hemostat, and an old toothbrush to clean Paco. I'm hoping that this one lasts longer than the other two.
